1.HOW TO START A SESSION

i) When the program launches, choose the program you would like to train for.
Do this by clicking one of the four options (EasyWorship 2009, Easyworhip 6, SongShowPlus or Media Shout) provided on the home page

ii) When the program opens, Choose between one of the seven difficulties offered in the “Choose Difficulty” block
1 is the lowest Difficulty
7 is the highest Difficulty

iii) In the “Choose Session Length” Block, type in how many scriptures you would like to train for
eg. inputting 10 will generate 10 scriptures sound clips for you to project

iv) Press the “Start Session” button or press the “Enter” key on the keyboard (if within the “choose session length block).
This will automatically move the cursor to the “Book” block and generate the first sound clip for you to project.

2. INPUTTING YOUR ANSWER

i) Type the book mentioned in the “Book” block

ii) Press the arrow key to move to the next Block

iii) input the chapter mentioned

iv) repeat step ii)

v) input the verse mentioned

vi) press enter or the project button to display your answer
Note: Using the project button is highly discourages as this is much slower than using the “Enter” key on your keyboard

3. HOW YOUR ANSWER IS VALIDATED

A. EasyWorship

i) The case in which the answer is typed does not matter
eg. “genesis” and “GeNEsis” will both give correct answers

ii) For numbered books, do not put a space between the number and the first character of the book
eg. “1 corinthians” will return a wrong answer
The correct way to input this is “1corinthians”

iii) Only the first 3 characters of the book need to be accurate
eg. “genesis” and “genkl” will both return a correct answer

However there is an exception for two books.
These are the books of ‘Jude’ and ‘Philemon’
This is because the first 3 character of Jude are “Jud”, the book of Judges shares this first 3 characters and would be taken first if “Jud” was entered.

Therefore, for the book of Jude, you would need to input all four characters for you answer to return correct.

Similarly, the book of Philemon share its first 4 characters “Phil” with the book of Philippians.
Therefore, for the book of Philemon, you would need to enter the first 5 characters “Phile” for your answer to return correct
Note: This is only for the books of “Jude” and “Philemon”.
For the books of ‘Judges’ or ‘Phillippians’ , you only need to enter the first 3 characters for your answer to return correct.

iv) ONE CHAPTER BOOKS.

These are the 5 books of the bible that contain only one chapter, they are Obadiah, Philemon, 2nd John, 3rd John and Jude.
When this books are called, the voice will call the name of the book and only one number.
The number ‘1’ should be inputted in the Chapter Block and the number called is to be inputted in the Verse Block.

Eg. If the voice calls “Jude twenty”
The input would be as follows

Book – Chapter - Verse
‘Jude’ – ‘1’ – ‘20’

B. Song Show Plus

i) The case in which the answer is typed does not matter
eg. “genesis” and “GeNEsis” will both give correct answers

iii) The first 3 characters of the book must be entered
Any additional characters typed into the ‘Book Block’ have to be correct as well
Eg.
‘Gen’ will give a correct answer
‘Genesi’ will give a correct answer
‘Genesu’ will give a wrong answer

However there is an exception for two books.
These are the books of ‘Jude’ and ‘Philemon’
This is because the first 3 character of Jude are “Jud”, the book of Judges shares this first 3 characters and would be taken first if “Jud” was entered.

Similarly, the book of Philemon share its first 4 characters “Phil” with the book of Philippians.
Therefore, for the book of Philemon, you would need to enter the first 5 characters “Phile” for your answer to return correct
Note: This is only for the books of “Jude” and “Philemon”.
For the books of ‘Judges’ or ‘Philippians’, you only need to enter the first 3 characters for your answer to return correct.
Any other characters typed in must be accurate as well.

The input would be as follows

Book – Chapter - Verse

4. TIPS

i) Because only the first 3 characters are needed to validate scriptures, avoid typing full scriptures. instead type only the characters needed to validate it
eg.
Don’t type “genesis”
Type “gen” instead
Note remember that the validation for ‘Jude’ and ‘Philemon’
require more characters (see 3-A-iii or 3-B-iii for more details).

ii) On EasyWorship, for faster movement use side to move between blocks
i.e Press side to move from the ‘Scripture Block’ to the ‘Chapter Block’
